Equipment
One of the first things the Trust did was to fit out Panchayat School with all kinds of furniture and equipment. The desks arrived in style by bullock cart and soon all the children had a desk and bench, the teachers had a table and chair, partitions made the space work harder and lockers kept books dry and safe.
Since then we’ve also furnished the Venkat Tuition Centre and equipped it with computers (left) and sewing machines.
Twice a year the Trust buys 240 sets of school uniforms for the children of Panchayat School and also equips them with text books and stationery, (being distributed below). And it’s also provided wells, walls, water pumps, desks and benches, tables, lockers, fans …. and the rest
